Baron Davis Still Hates Elton Brand

Baron Davis was on one of my favorite podcasts a few days back, “Spider and the Henchman,” and when jokingly asked by Dave Dameshek (filling in for Kevin Hench) who Baron would rather have dinner with between Mike Dunleavy and Elton Brand, Davis said, “Mike Dunleavy…at least he’s honest.” Ouch. The dude sounded bitter.
What a fantastic question that was, you see:
Brand allegedly promised Davis that he was going to re-sign with the Clippers a few summers ago, then bolted for Philadelphia, and more cash. Dunleavy was the coach of the Clippers last year, and well, he and Baron didn’t see eye to eye on basketball matters.
Baron continued talking about how the team progressed… “I’ll take Blake Griffin over Elton Brand any day.”
