Brandon Marshall determined to be next Pacman Jones, arrested again

on 03 2, 2009

You can take a thug out of the hood but you can’t take the hood out of a thug. We saw this with Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones, and it seems like he’s taken Denver Broncos wideout Brandon Marshall under his wing. B-Marsh’s 4th arrest since ’06 came Sunday in Atlanta after being booked on a disorderly conduct charge following a fight. On the bright side, at least he wasn’t beating his girl (arrested for domestic violence last year). Nice work B, you’re making progress! There currently are not details of the incident, but boy am I anxious to hear them. Remember when you slipped on a McDonald’s wrapper and put your arm through the TV (AKA was on the wrong end of a knife fight)? Then the story changed that you were wrestling your brother and you put your arm through it? HAHA, that’s believable. In order to cut up your arm that bad it would have to be a tube TV, and I’d like to know which NFL players own tube TVs. Come on, even I have a flat screen. Just throwing that thought out there.

ESPN reports that Marshall is potentially facing an 8-game suspension to kick off the ’09 season. Good, I’m sick of this shit (and I hate the Broncos). Marshall made the Pro Bowl last year after piling up 1,265 yards to go along with 6 TDs. On the other hand, B-Marsh must’ve caught a bad case of the Braylon Edwards, dropping 18 passes(ESPN). Maybe he was drinking 5 Hour Energys too?

Let’s face it, this guy’s career is on the borderline of being over… especially after the Pacman Jones era. The league is done putting up with this bullshit. Marshall has so much talent, but he is simply too ‘hood.’ He will probably get one more shot, but I’d put money on the fact that he slips up again.

The Broncos are falling apart. Mike Shanahan was fired. Jay Cutler’s pissed off after talks of him being traded for Matt Cassel, and rightfully so. Marshall catches more cases than he does balls.

I know 2 things are certain. Pacman is happy…he’s probably sitting back thinking, ‘nice work B-Marsh, you’re well on your way,’ and Jerry Jones’ eyes just lit up. Look for the Cowboys to make a move.
