Favre’s Got His “Hands Full”

Brett Favre is in hot water.
Nobody believed Deadspin.com when they posted a pseudo-rumor a little while back about Brett Favre “sexting” Jenn Sterger, an ex-employee of the New York Jets, in 2008. A lot of people laughed it off. They thought it was just bullshit that Deadspin posted to get attention. AJ Daulerio caught a lot of heat for it.
Well, now Deadspin has Brett Favre’s voicemails to Jenn Sterger, MySpace messages, and pictures of what may or may not be Favre’s private parts.
There’s a lot of concrete evidence here. The voicemails definitely sound like him, and Daulerio says that the area code is traced to Mississippi.
After all of this was revealed, every major media outlet reported the story. Even ESPN. They were hesitant to talk about this, but they finally cracked.
The NFL is apparently investigating this thoroughly, and will meet with Jenn Sterger. Basically, if she tells them that Favre harassed her, Roger Goodell and the brass will be meeting with Favre, and probably punish him. Suspension looming for Favre???? 4 games? 6? Roethlisberger-esque?
Look, it doesn’t matter if you’re a rookie or a legendary quarterback: sexually harassing an employee of an NFL team is violating the personal conduct policy.
Two things, aside from the obvious, are completely hilarious about this situation. Favre and Vikings play the Jets tomorrow. Extremely ironic. Also, when pressed about the rumors, Favre said, “I’m not getting into that … I’ve got my hands full with the Jets.” Hands full, Brett? I bet you do.
Not only THIS, but Deadspin is also reporting that Favre sent lewd texts to two Jets team massage therapists in 2008.
I never thought I could hate Brett Favre more than I did a few months ago. Well, I was wrong.
