Lebron James, you are not the king

In this age of sports, it always amazes me how we crown people before they have done anything of significance. This case in point is about LeBron James. What have you done of major significance?
Yes, you won 3 High school state titles, NBA rookie of the year, an MVP, and the hearts of many people. Unfortunately, your ego has also gotten the best of you recently, as embarrassment hides everywhere underneath you while you’re on top, starting with refusing to shake players hands after your upset defeat in the 2009 Eastern Conference Finals to the Orlando Magic.
On Monday, Jordan Crawford, a sophomore at Xavier (by way of Indiana), reportedly dunked on LeBron during a pick-up game at the LeBron James Skills Academy. One of the high school players who saw this said “it was bad,” and if you know slang, that doesn’t mean bad for Crawford. James had to of agreed, because he had Nike officials confiscate the two videos that were taken of the dunk. I guess the term “We won’t allow Witnesses” would apply here!
He may like to think of himself as “King James” because he reigns close to being supreme on the basketball court, but maybe LeBron James earned that nickname due to his egocentric ways of late.
In order to be the “King,” you have to rule the Kingdom, and that has not been accomplished yet by James. The reigning King of the court is Kobe Bryant, and James needs to be able to deal with that instead of acting like a “Diva” the last 2 months.
Sir, you are not the “King,” but you can be the King if you happen to lead whatever team you’re on to an NBA Championship.
