Lil Wayne encourages NHL players to always wear their helmet, even if you’re Sean Avery

What have our sports shows come to? I tried to ignore the fact that Lil’ Wayne had his own blog on ESPN, but to turn on Around the Horn and see Weezy on there? Uh-uh. Big no-no ESPN.
Weezy F Baby had to have been blazed. He was struggling to put a sentence together. Tony Reali’s face was priceless. Here is one clip where the Around the Horn crew debates hockey fights. Really, Wayne? You’re just going to stop a fight once a helmet comes off? Almost every hockey fight the players’ helmets come off. It’s not that easy to get between two players who are going at it. This was just one of the few questionable things Lil’ Wayne had to say during the show.

It’s amusing that a guy whose lyrics contain several references to guns and the like thinks hockey players should be suspended if they fight with helmets off. Amusing, but not something I want to hear when I’m trying to soak in my sports news for the day. But I guess I really am not too surprised, I mean, Woody Paige is a main contributor on the show…
That might be the last time I watch some Around the Horn before Pardon the Interruption comes on…
