But as to Bird and Magic, great and historically important as they are, neither will ultimately be thought of as better than Lebron. Their genius, exemplified by their superlative vision, court-awareness and passing skills, are at least equaled by 'Bron. Just watch the games. Listen to the longtime commentators. Then watch over time as LBJ continues to lay seige on the record books, rack up MVPs and rings, and the only remaining question will be "has 'Bron passed up Michael?" Bird and Magic will be near the top of the list, but they will take their place somewhere below Lebron James. Exactly where Kobe lands on the list in the future, certainly toward the top, will be another question. Whether the two enjoy a rivalry like Bird and Magic, well, we'll all see in a few weeks and the next several years. But 'Bron will be top two all-time. Book it.
