The Los Angeles Dodgers were winning by a ton in this game and in the 9th Mota decided to bean Fielder. Apparently, a bean war was going on after Manny Ramirez was hit earlier in the game. Mota and Fielder are previous teammates, which could have also fueled some of the fire.
