Mark Teixeira had every right to address something to John Henry. Who cares if he's 59, the way Teixeira addressed the issue was his choice, and a great one by the way. So stop bashing the Yankees because the Red Sox didn't do anything special in the last couple series vs. the Yankees. They went 8-8 vs. them. Plus, Yankees are champions. I'm a Midwesterner so I'm not sure if the White Sox-Cubs rivalry is considered in the same ballpark (hahahaha) or not! The famous Red Sox trade of Babe Ruth to the Yankees, though, is part of a fun book on big sports blunders and how they changed sports history: "What Were They Thinking?" Very fun book outlining the details of all kinds of big sports mistakes, including the Ruth trade, the Tonya Harding whacking of Nancy Kerrigan, Bill Buckner and the '86 Series (the author takes the position Buckner is NOT to blame), all kinds of good stuff across just about all sports.
