Terrell Owens and Buffalo Bills agree to deal, TO says "I've never been to Canada"

Terrell Owens just agreed to a 1 year/6.5 million contract with Buffalo. Bills fans get your popcorn ready and strap up for the upcoming emotional rollercoaster next season.
Buffalo started hot last season, going 5-1 in their first 6 games, but managed to win only 2 more games after their hot start. This is a team that failed to have over 300 yards passing in a game and was in desperate need of another WR threat. The Bills could potentially have a stellar offense, with TO and Lee Evans at wideout and Marshawn Lynch taking carries. However, the Bills have a couple of trouble makers they need to keep in line. Marshawn Lynch just pleaded guilty to a gun charge, and you never know what you are going to get out of Owens. ‘Accidental’ overdose, crying about how much he loves his QB, envious of a suspected QB-TE relationship etc.. If there were any questions that the Bills would go offense with the 11th pick on draft day, it’s pretty clear that now they can bulk up a defense with quite a bit of potential.

The deal works out for both parties. T.O. needed a new home, and the Bills needed a big time WR. T.O. is an absolute physical specimen, and can still be a big-time contributor if he can keep a level head. The Bills are taking a HUGE gamble on a player who has a history of being a cancer in the locker room, but for a team that hasn’t been to the postseason since ’99, they don’t have much more to lose. Depending on the play of QB Trent Edwards and if the Bills players can stay out of trouble this season, they could be a legitimate contender and a scary match-up for any team to face.
