Tiger Woods will RETURN March 22nd for the Tavistock Cup

on 02 9, 2010

According to tmz.com and someone who works for the Woods family, Tiger Woods is headed back to his home in Florida sometime next week and has decided about his return to golf.

Apparently, he’s planning to play in the Tavistock Cup, March 22 and 23 at the Isleworth Golf & Country Club.  After the tournament, Tiger will head to Georgia to get ready for the Masters.

TMZ says that Tiger will be returning to his home in Windermere next week.  Cleaning crews have been spotted around the outside of the Woods’ home recently.

Well, Tiger, it’s about damn time you come out of hiding.  You’ve ran away like a coward since Thanksgiving.  If you just get back to winning tournaments, people might forget about your sex escapades.  “Sex rehab?”  Please.  You just want people to feel sorry for you, pretending you have an addiction.  As Kevin Hench put it in an Adam Carolla podcast, “Yeah, he has the disease of the Y chromosome.”

The Tavistock Cup could be a nice little warm-up for the Masters, and if you win the Masters, I guarantee that a lot of people will forget about your failed marriage, Eldrick.  (That is your real name, isn’t it?  Can we really be sure after all we’ve learned these past few months?)

If this report is true, I’m happy.  There’s only 4 tournaments every year that matter to Tiger, the majors.  They will determine the rest of his legacy.  He doesn’t care about the small tournaments because he’s got more money than he knows what to do with.  Do you know how many PGA tournament wins Tiger has?  Me neither.  But I know how many majors he has:  14.  He needs 4 more to tie Jack.

Your buddy Federer is kicking your butt, Tiger.  He just won another Grand Slam, his 16th.  Step up your game:  the mistresses can wait.  Golf isn’t the same without you.
