To Gary-Conseco ratted out players that a lot of fans loved. Jr is probably one of the most admired players to ever come to Seattle, so he probably would have come up somewhere if he juiced. I believe that most educated baseball fans understand the rarity that is Griffey and feels honored to have watched him. He is a certified great and deserves no questioning. When he got hurt he could have done the Clemens thing and used HGH to repair his body, instead he chose rehab and treatment. At the time, nobody was suspicious of things like the steroid era outside of baseball, so maybe it was an accepted means. Nobody would have noticed. There is just no evidence to support that he never juiced. sorry

Huh? Who's to say Griffey didn't juice? Power numbers increased during the 'roid era, suspicious injuries soon after, clubhouse full of offenders, needing to prove he was the Golden Boy, grew jowels -- common of 'roid users. A friend, in making an argument back when Bonds was breaking the HR record, pointed to two guys who he said never used 'roids -- Sosa and A-Rod. Now that it's undeniable that they did take 'roids, it's just a matter of time before Griffey is ratted out, too.

In my mind, the things he is doing in the steroid era, he is the greatest of all time. Anyone can say yes to steroids and be great, but it is even harder to say no. Let's not get greedy with ourselves and want more out of Ken Griffey Jr.'s magnificent career.

If you cheat baseball, you get nothing out of it.

@Chase - I don't think you're letting your mind go free. Ken Griffey Jr could have possibly gone down as the greatest ball player of all-time. Steroids would have given Griffey that edge, in an era where steroids where all the rage (sorry had to do it) it could have passable. I mean, I would rather have been interrupted for 'Griffey Watch' to see him crank a yardbarker than Mr. Bonds. I think we can all agree to that.
